Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Driller to join our drilling operations in Offshore West Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment, ensuring all drilling activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and industry safety standards.

Applicants must possess previous experience working on Semi-Tender or Tender Assist Drilling (TAD) rigs, or Jack-Up Drilling Barge operations, with a valid IWCF Well Control Certification.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and supervise drilling activities safely and efficiently.

Monitor drilling parameters and ensure adherence to the approved drilling program.

Coordinate daily drilling operations with the Toolpusher, Rig Manager, and other rig personnel.

Supervise the Driller's Assistant, Derrickman, and Floormen during drilling operations.

Ensure proper maintenance and inspection of drilling equipment.

Maintain accurate drilling reports and operational record

Lead pre-job safety meetings and participate in toolbox talks.

Ensure compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and client requirements.

Respond effectively to well control situations and emergency scenarios.

Mentor and develop junior drilling crew members.

Minimum Requirements

Malaysian citizen (Local applicants only).

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Driller in offshore drilling operations.

Proven experience working on:

Semi-Tender Drilling Rigs; or

Tender Assist Drilling (TAD) Rigs; or

Offshore Drilling Barges.

Valid IWCF Well Control Certificate (Driller Level).

Strong knowledge of offshore drilling operations, well control, and drilling equipment.

Familiar with permit-to-work systems, HSE requirements, and offshore operational procedures.

Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Physically fit and medically fit for offshore work.

Able to work on rotational offshore schedules.
