Job Description:
The Production Supervisor II will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production targets are met. This role will involve managing a team of production workers, monitoring production schedules, and implementing quality control measures to ensure that products meet company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet targets
- Implement quality control measures to ensure product standards are met
- Train and develop production staff to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Prepare reports on production performance and make recommendations for improvement
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a production supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
