Project Manager - Johor

Oversee all awarded strategic projects in Malaysia, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Manage project delivery by attending site meetings, maintaining accurate records, enforcing safety standards, monitoring programmer status, managing quality, and supporting handover to operations teams. Concurrently manage multiple projects, including new data centre builds and capital improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and deliver periodic progress reports to stakeholders

Evaluate master programmer and monitor work progress against planned schedules

Develop cost estimates, review progress claims, interim certificates, and issue payment responses

Identify potential or actual causes of delay and implement preventive or remedial actions

Ensure timely preparation, submission, and clearance of documents with relevant authorities

Attend site meetings, maintain accurate records, enforce safety standards, and monitor programmer status

Manage quality and support handover to operations teams

About you

Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or related field)

At least 3-5 years of working experience in project management

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is an advantage

Familiarity with data centre projects or complex projects in a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) environment

Experience with HVAC equipment is an advantage

Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel

Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies

Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills in English and local language

Able to commence work immediately
