Site Inspector – Quality Control
Location: Röhrsdorf, Germany
Contract: 6 months
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Spencer Ogden is currently seeking an experienced Site Inspector to join a major energy infrastructure project in Röhrsdorf on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional with experience working on large-scale construction or energy projects, with a strong understanding of electrical installations, inspection processes and site quality control.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Inspections
Carry out quality control inspections across the construction site.
Inspect incoming components, including cables, battery containers, inverters and transformers, for transport damage and compliance.
Conduct quality inspections during installation, including foundations, cable routes and electrical works.
Monitor ongoing civil engineering, cable pulling and electrical installation activities.
Execute inspections in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), including Hold Points and Witness Points.
Monitor and oversee subcontractor activities on site.
Defect Management & Handover
Identify, document and track defects at an early stage.
Support the preparation and management of non-conformance and deviation reports.
Follow up with contractors to ensure identified defects are appropriately rectified.
Support inspection, completion and handover activities.
Documentation & Quality Records
Record and document all inspections and quality activities using Procore.
Review delivery documentation, material certificates and test reports.
Maintain project quality records and documentation.
Review and reconcile Redline drawings for accurate As-Built documentation.
Communication & Coordination
Work closely with the Site Manager, Project Quality Manager and suppliers.
Participate actively in regular site and construction meetings.
Act as a key quality interface between project stakeholders and subcontractors.
Requirements
Completed vocational training, ideally in construction, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Technician/Master qualification in construction or electrical engineering is advantageous.
Additional training or qualification in quality management / quality control (QMB) is desirable.
3–5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control on major construction sites.
Experience within energy infrastructure, substations, PV parks or similar large-scale projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction-site quality assurance processes, including ITP, FQP and FQR.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
Experience with S-Plan and/or EPLAN is highly desirable.
Candidates with an electrical planning background and relevant site quality experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
Fluent German and good English are required due to the international project environment.
