Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – NL

Description

Job Opening: Quantity Surveyor

Ensure cost clarity and drive project profitability across Europe’s most advanced data-center

builds.

From our headquarters you will keep multi-million-euro data-center

projects financially healthy, travelling about 30 % of the time to sites in the Netherlands,

Germany, and France. Your clear cost reporting and timely warnings help project teams stay

on budget and on schedule.

From pre-project calculations and technical submittals to monthly pay-runs and final account

sign-off, you ensure value for money at every stage. You coordinate purchase orders and

procurement workflows, maintain live work budgets in the ACC cost module, and review

supplier invoices before they hit our ledgers. Side-by-side with Project Managers and the

Project Administrator you turn raw cost data into clear insights, flag risks early, and

negotiate savings that protect both margin and client satisfaction. Regular site visits keep

you close to progress on the ground and help you coach teams on cost-control best practice.

We think this profile is a good fit

Part of our approach is that we prefer not to think in strict categories. We like to keep your

profile as open as possible. Our best estimate is that you will need the following:

• Proven experience—or a strong affinity—with cost control in construction or fit-out

projects.

• A structured, methodical working style and an eye for numerical detail.

• Confidence to chase missing data, challenge discrepancies, and advise on cost-saving

options.

• Proficiency with Excel and modern cost-management systems (ACC, or similar).

• Willingness to travel ca 30% of your time to project sites in NL, DE, and FR.

• A good command of English is required. German, Polish, French or Dutch are a plus but not

required.

• The mindset to grow into a senior QS role, shaping financial strategy across multiple

business units.
