Start Date: 14th October 2026

Pay Rate: £50,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Gatwick. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Conduct cost analysis for construction projects
  • Assist in the preparation of budget estimates and cost plans
  • Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase
  • Prepare and submit progress payment applications
  • Provide advice on contractual matters
  • Participate in project meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and industry-specific software
