Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at the Frankfurt DC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost management and procurement for construction projects at the facility. This is a senior role that requires a high level of expertise and experience in quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering studies
- Manage procurement activities and negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Monitor project costs and ensure they stay within budget
- Provide advice on cost-saving measures and risk management strategies
- Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in cost estimation software
- Fluent English; German is beneficial.
