ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a utility-scale solar and battery storage developer fully owned by a leading global investment firm.
THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a Project Finance Senior Associate to sit within the Finance team, reporting into the Head of Finance. This is a generalist finance role where you will rotate across M&A and project finance. You will work alongside a Director of M&A and a team of experienced associates, getting hands-on exposure to large-scale transactions across the full deal cycle.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support M&A, project finance, and corporate finance transactions across the development pipeline
Build and maintain financial models for project-level and portfolio-level analysis
Assist in structuring and executing tax equity, debt, and equity financing arrangements
Conduct due diligence and prepare investment materials for internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with the broader finance and development team to support deal execution from origination to close
Work cross-functionally with legal, development, and engineering teams on live transactions
Contribute to corporate finance initiatives as the business scales
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3-5 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, corporate finance, M&A, or a related field
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Experience in renewables is a plus; real estate finance backgrounds are also considered
Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced, lean team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Texas
