Pay Rate: 150,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cost Controller to join our team in Iceland. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all cost control activities within the organization, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and financial goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize project budgets
- Monitor project expenditures and identify areas for cost savings
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to track project performance
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting
- Provide recommendations for cost reduction and process improvement
- Manage and mentor junior cost control staff
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in cost control software and MS Excel
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
