Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience in Building Services to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of mechanical systems for building projects
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess mechanical systems and troubleshoot issues
- Develop cost estimates and project timelines
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building services engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Chartered Engineer status preferred
