Job Description:
Our client, a leading engineering consultancy in Cardiff, is seeking a Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer to join their Building Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering electrical engineering solutions for a range of building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical systems design
- Develop and review electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in electrical engineering within the building services sector
- Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software and building regulations
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
