Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical (Data Centre Retrofit)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a focus on Mechanical engineering for a Data Centre Retrofit project in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of the retrofit project and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical engineering team in the design and implementation of retrofit projects
- Ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on retrofit projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
