A leading global consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its fast expanding Data Centre team in London. This is an opportunity to work on some of the most technically complex and high-value hyperscale developments in Europe, supporting world-class clients at the forefront of digital infrastructure.

You will take a key commercial role across major data centre programmes, managing cost from early-stage advisory through to delivery. Working alongside project managers, engineers, and client teams, you will provide strategic cost planning, procurement leadership, and commercial oversight on fast-paced, mission-critical projects.


Key Responsibilities


Lead cost planning, benchmarking, and commercial strategy for large-scale data centre projects

Manage procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier engagement

Provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and risk management across project lifecycles

Drive value engineering and cost optimisation without compromising programme or quality

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting key commercial decisions

Oversee contract administration and manage change control effectively


Requirements


Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major construction projects (data centre experience strongly preferred)

Background within a consultancy or client-side environment

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex, high-value packages

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

MRICS (or working towards) preferred
