Shift Lead Engineer

Lead and supervise data centre technicians and engineers during assigned shifts.

Run shift handover briefings, documenting ongoing incidents, maintenance activity and system status.

Monitor critical infrastructure: UPS, PDUs, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, generators, BMS/DCIM platforms. Respond promptly to alarms.

Act as primary technical escalation point during shift hours for incidents, equipment failures and emergencies.

Execute and oversee planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance against approved MOPs and SOPs.

Issue and manage Permit to Work and Method of Procedure documentation for maintenance and change activity.

Coordinate third-party contractors and vendors on shift, ensuring safe and compliant execution of approved work.

Conduct physical inspections of the data hall, electrical rooms, mechanical plant rooms and rooftop systems.

Log all shift activity, incidents, alarms and maintenance actions in the CMMS and shift logbook.

Support root cause analysis for incidents and contribute to corrective actions.

Ensure the shift team complies with EHS requirements and Empyrion Digital operational policy.

Support the DC Operations Manager on operational reporting, capacity tracking and continuous improvement.
