Support the development and execution of corporate strategy initiatives, including long-range planning, market assessments, investment evaluations, and corporate development activities.
Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to provide actionable insights that inform business strategy and growth initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and enhance power market and financial models used to support strategic planning, investment decisions, portfolio optimization, and commercial activities.
Conduct scenario analyses, sensitivity testing, and market forecasting to assess opportunities, risks, and potential business outcomes.
Partner with cross-functional teams across Development, Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Energy Management functions to drive strategic initiatives and support decision-making.
Prepare presentations, analyses, and recommendations for senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
Evaluate emerging technologies, market structures, and long-term growth opportunities to support innovation and competitive positioning.
Monitor portfolio and business performance, identifying value creation opportunities, key risks, and capital allocation priorities.
Support investment analysis, valuation exercises, portfolio reporting, and strategic business planning efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Energy Systems, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
4–7 years of experience in corporate strategy, market analytics, energy finance, private equity, infrastructure investing, asset management, renewable energy, power markets, or a related field.
Strong understanding of U.S. power markets, renewable energy technologies, market fundamentals, and regulatory frameworks.
Experience analyzing market trends, competitive dynamics, and investment opportunities within the energy, infrastructure, or utility sectors.
Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, or similar analytical tools is a plus.
