T3000 Commissioning SOW (Offshore)

Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced T3000 Commissioning Engineer to support the commissioning, testing and energisation of electrical systems associated with onshore and offshore wind projects across Europe.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective commissioning of T3000 control, protection, monitoring and associated electrical systems, working closely with commissioning managers, electrical engineers, OEMs, contractors and client representatives.


The role will involve significant project-based travel and may include periods working offshore, depending on project requirements.


Key Responsibilities

Commissioning & Testing

Plan and execute T3000 commissioning activities in accordance with project requirements, commissioning procedures and approved test documentation.

Perform pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, point-to-point checks and system verification.

Commission and test T3000 systems, including associated control, protection, communication and monitoring interfaces.

Support energisation, first power, functional testing and operational handover activities.

Identify, investigate and resolve commissioning issues and system faults.

Review test results, identify deviations and ensure corrective actions are completed.

Support integration testing between T3000, turbine control systems, SCADA, protection systems and other plant systems.

Assist with troubleshooting of electrical, control and communication faults.

Complete commissioning records, test sheets, punch lists and as-built documentation.

Onshore & Offshore Wind Projects

Work on wind farms, substations, converter stations and associated electrical infrastructure.

Support commissioning activities for both onshore and offshore wind projects, including offshore substations where applicable.

Work safely in challenging site environments and comply with offshore/onshore project procedures.

Participate in offshore mobilisation, vessel transfers and site rotations where required.

Coordinate commissioning activities with multiple contractors and equipment suppliers.
