The Proposal Engineer works closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to maximize project sales, with a strong focus on prefabricated solutions. Acting as a technical project manager, this role supports customers from initial engagement through solution design and production, coordinating with GF headquarters, global engineering teams, prefabrication workshops, and local partners. The role requires a proactive and customer-oriented mindset to deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with market needs.


Key Responsibilities


Collaborate with Sales and relevant departments to support and maximize project sales, particularly for prefabricated solutions

Act as technical project manager from initial customer contact through production and delivery

Introduce GF Group products, including new and externally sourced products

Prepare technical proposals, presentations, user manuals, and technical documentation

Provide technical training to internal teams, customers, and partners; conduct seminars and workshops

Visit key customers and provide technical consultation and solution support

Identify, analyze, and resolve customer technical challenges accurately and efficiently

Design solutions using 3D CAD tools in collaboration with the Global Engineering Service team

Coordinate customized and processed product manufacturing with internal departments and partner companies

Ensure quality management, including inspection methods and compliance with standards

Drive continuous improvement of existing products based on customer feedback

Support problem-solving activities including complaint handling in cooperation with Sales and HQ

Prepare, translate, and manage technical documentation and application databases for Sales use


Required Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Proficiency in AutoCAD / 3D CAD tools

Native-level Japanese proficiency
