DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meets with subcontractors daily to plan and coordinate the short term goals and objectives, and develop a path forward to solve any problems.
- Develops three week look-ahead schedule and works with Construction Manager and trades to ensure schedule is met.
- Collects and analyzes production data in order to build productivity standards for the project and then communicates these standards to the project stakeholders.
- Coordinates the arrival of deliveries and equipment to the project site with the logistics team and subcontractors.
- Reviews and thoroughly understands material submittals, plans and specifications to ensure that the project is built to standard.
- Leads by example and enforces company and regulatory safety policies and procedures; addresses non-compliance among all employees, subcontractors and vendors.
- Knows the key operational details of the subcontract and holds the subcontractors accountable to their agreement and the company's standards.
- Measures productivity, progress and performance of the subcontractors on a daily basis and completes daily activity and tracking reports. Qualifications

The individual needs to be located within driving distance to each of the facilities to be accessible for the required as needed day trips to the projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned as needed) - Develop environmental compliance programs for each project encompassing all local, state and federal permitting requirements.- Manage and perform field environmental audits, reporting, and monitoring for construction projects and renewable energy facilities.- Review technical reports and provide quality assurance of project documents with a focus on compliance of permit conditions, procedures, and regulatory agency regulations for projects in the development stage through execution stage.- Working closely with EPC and contractors/consultants to ensure project compliance providing guidance, interpretation, and requirements.- Initiate support with development team during late-stage entitlement and resource agency permit procurement to provide seamless transition to construction- Ensure seamless transition to operational compliance.- Review cost budgets, seek proposals and support contracting, invoicing, work plans, and execution strategies for the environmental compliance responsibilities.- Manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.- Coordinate if asked with local, state and federal agencies on the project's behalf.- If requested, present training materials and documents. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - At least 3 years of environmental and regulatory compliance. Preferred experience in the renewables industry.- Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulatory agency laws, regulations, and permitting requirements.- Detailed knowledge of Erosion and Sediment Control and Stormwater regulations, compliance strategies and environmental engineering.- Experience in performing and participating environmental inspections and/or audits.- Knowledge of compliance including NEPA, CEQA, USACE, CWA, DOT, SPCC, EPA, CalEPA, and waste management, water quality (state and jurisdictional) air quality (state and jurisdictional), T&E species, USFW, CDFW, and Historical Resources.- Computer skills with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, SharePoint.- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and delegate.- Ability to lead their responsibilities and work in a collaborative environment.- Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.- Conscientious and detail-oriented with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.- Good judgment and sound decision-making skills.- Will be partial office and field-based. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE - - Associates, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience- Experience in environmental compliance and must be recent and relevant to this environmental position (required)- Knowledge of renewable energy facilities preferred, but not required.- Experience requesting consultant proposals and preparing agreements with environmental consultants preferred. COMMUNICATION SKILLS - - Strong interpersonal skills- Excellent written & verbal communication- Computer proficiency (combination of virtual, office based, and in-field) REASONING ABILITY & DECISION-MAKING SKILLS - Ability to work independently, requiring little to no supervision- Attention to detail and focus on quality- Problem solving skills- Proficient in identifying potential problems and develop written or verbal corrective action plans focused on resolving potential issues independently CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS - Valid CA driver's license with excellent driving record (required)- Certifications in other environmental compliance programs (i.e. QSP, HAZWOPER, etc.) (preferred) PHYSICAL DEMANDS - - Ability to comfortably lift up to 50lbs and ability to maneuver in steep grades and muddy conditions.- Travel to projects and overnight stays approximately 25% of the time- Personal vehicle may be needed for regular field visits (Mileage reimbursements based on the current federal mileage rate) WORK ENVIRONMENT - - Ability to conduct field work in challenging terrain and/or during inclement weather, often independently.
