Spencer Ogden are currently seeking Service Technicians experienced with Vestas onshore wind turbines to support with service contracts in Japan on assignment basis with maximum durations of 3 months per rotation.

 

Contract and Position Details:

  • Job Title: Service Technician 
  • Scope of Work: To support Spencer Ogden's customers in Japan with service and maintenance of onshore wind turbines and specifically be involved with link bearing exchange.
  • Start date: ASAP - immediate starters preferred
  • Contract duration: 3 month
  • Location: Japan
  • Visa sponsorship and insurance provided for successful applicants

Contract Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years working experience as a Service or Installation Technician in the Wind industry for either onshore or offshore turbines
  • Experience working with Vestas onshore turbines preferred
  • Certification required:
    • GWO BST
    • Electrical Safety Qualification 
    • Vestas Level D certification
  • Candidate must be able/willing to provide own PPE including workwear, safety harness and lanyard.
