She is Principal Engineering Manager at EDF Renewables UK, leading the Central Engineering Team to deliver and operate renewable technologies. Previously at BAE Systems in the Tank & Artillery division, she has extensive experience managing engineering resources, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

She has 30 years’ experience in social and environmental sustainability. Most recently, she spent nine years leading ArcelorMittal’s corporate sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and investor relations. Previously, at RES Group, she established their zero-emissions head office, environmental education programme, and sustainability initiatives for large-scale renewable projects worldwide.

Ayline is Deputy HSE Manager at Principle Power, overseeing HSE for the company’s Operation and Maintenance activities. Working closely with teams in the UK and Portugal, and regularly visiting floating platforms, she has brought her Oil and Gas experience to renewables, positively influencing both internal teams and clients.

Named one of the Women’s Engineering Society Top 50 Engineers in 2022, she has 20 years’ experience in marine renewables and a career dedicated to advancing clean energy. She co-founded Quoceant, growing it into a successful engineering consultancy serving wave, tidal, and offshore wind clients.

Her PhD research included a life cycle assessment of the Pelamis Wave Energy Converter, analysing carbon and energy footprints, the impact of practitioner assumptions, and the marginal displacement of wind power on the National Grid.

She is Head of Hydrogen Strategy at Xodus, with 20 years’ experience in the energy sector. She co-led the Bacton Energy Hub’s infrastructure special interest group and a pre-feasibility study with Frontier Energy. She is also a STEM Ambassador and serves on UCL’s Industry Advisory Panel and the ECITB’s Net Zero Network.

Carolina won the WeAreTheCity Top 5 award in Energy & Utilities, recognising her as a rising star and role model for women in the sector. She also actively volunteers with the Women’s Engineering Society, supporting women in engineering, science, and technology.

She is CTO of Ceres Power, a developer of low-cost next-generation fuel cells and green hydrogen technology. Previously a founding member of McLaren Applied Technologies, she is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and was awarded a CBE in 2020 for services to engineering.

Building on her PhD research, she focuses on improving the UK’s housing energy efficiency and public health, while supporting climate change targets.

Carol, a chemical engineer from the University of Arkansas, developed a water-based anti-reflective coating for existing solar panels that boosts efficiency by up to 3.8% while containing zero VOCs. Since joining Pellucere in 2020, her formulation is set to be applied to around 1GW of solar panels across the US, Europe, UK, and India, helping maximise clean energy generation.

Catherine is Delivery Manager, ensuring smooth and high-quality deployments from G100 compliance to energy management software. She aligns client expectations with internal capabilities, manages resources effectively, and keeps projects on track, delivering a seamless experience. Her dedication and diligence create stability for both clients and colleagues, making her work truly indispensable.

Clare is Project Director for Buchan Offshore Wind, a ScotWind project set to generate 1GW of clean energy—enough to power 1.3 million homes. With over 20 years in renewables, she has led major onshore and offshore energy projects and previously directed Arup’s energy business, shaping policy, regulation, and project delivery across the sector.

She is a sustainable energy advocate, serving as CEO and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Sustainable Energy for All, and Co-Chair of UN-Energy.
