Spencer Ogden is partnering with a major offshore wind developer and is now seeking a skilled Commissioning Manager – Logistics to support installation and commissioning activities across multiple offshore substations.


This is an excellent opportunity to play a central role in a large-scale renewable energy project, supporting commissioning teams and ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant logistics operations.


The Role


As Commissioning Manager – Logistics, you will coordinate daily offshore logistics, manage procurement processes, support commissioning workflows, and ensure all materials, personnel movements, and documentation are handled accurately and on time.


This role involves close collaboration with commissioning teams, contractors, suppliers, O&M, and offshore teams to ensure seamless and well-coordinated execution.


Key Responsibilities


Plan, implement, and document logistics for the installation and commissioning of offshore substations.


Develop shipping guidelines, importation procedures, and shipping mark templates.


Manage vendor onboarding, sourcing requests, and purchase requisitions.


Prepare invoices and packing lists for items requiring offshore shipment.


Coordinate and plan daily offshore logistics for both personnel and cargo.


Manage and coordinate the Defect Management process.


Review system spare-part lists and arrange timely delivery of approved items.


Establish and manage the RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) review process.


Support system maintenance activities after energisation, ensuring compliance with technical and contractual requirements.


Maintain day-to-day communication with commissioning managers regarding procurement, RAMS, logistics, and maintenance activities.


Prepare all required documentation for operational handover of offshore platforms.

Your Profile


Ideally based near Gda?sk or Warsaw, with ability to commute regularly.


Electrical or marine engineering background (Vocational or B.Sc.).


Experience in:


Low-voltage and building utilities


High-voltage protection systems & equipment


Electromechanical and automated safety systems


Electrical installation, testing & commissioning


Experience with offshore or onshore substation outfitting.


Offshore logistics experience is highly desirable.


Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities.


Good understanding of procurement processes.
