Contract Manager, Renewable Energy

Responsibilities
• Manage the execution of Wind and BESS contracts for LATAM projects.
• Lead full-cycle contract management execution (post-sales), ensuring all contractual clauses are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Closely collaborate with the Projects team to identify risks, clarify responsibilities, manage client claims, and safeguard contractual rights.
• Ensure strict adherence to contract terms and proactively defend the seller’s technical and commercial prerogatives.
• Lead change orders, claims, and dispute processes with strong technical and contractual justification.
• Track project milestones, schedules, payments, documentation, and client obligations to ensure full compliance.
• Issue formal communications and contractual correspondence as required.
• Provide internal teams with guidance on contractual risks, obligations, and the implications of commercial decisions.
• Liaise directly with clients, EPCs, and key stakeholders to resolve contract-related issues and maintain alignment.
• Monitor and mitigate contractual risks to protect project margin and delivery timelines.
• Participate in progress meetings, technical discussions, and negotiation sessions.
• Maintain robust documentation governance and ensure compliance with internal processes and regional regulatory requirements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management within Wind, BESS, Thermal or Hydro
• Strong experience in Supply Agreements and interaction with BoP/EPC contracts.
• Solid understanding of claims management, risk assessment, change management, and technical negotiations.
• Fluency in English is required, along with proficiency in at least one additional language such as Spanish or Portuguese to communicate effectively in a multinational organization and manage local stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills with strong critical thinking and assertive negotiation abilities.
• Previous experience working with LATAM clients is highly advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
