Scope of work

This control systems operational support role provides 24x7 first response control system support services for breakdown and investigation in production/maintenance area remotely from Integrated Remote Operation Centre (IROC).

This support role reports directly to the Lead Control Systems Engineer for all control systems related issue/escalation and to the Fixed Plant Control Supervisor (On-Shift Duty Supervisor) for immediate health, safety, production related issues.

Responsibilities:

Provide control systems support to breakdown and production critical issues, encompassing automated train loading, dumping, stacking, screening, crushing, reclaiming and ship loading operations

Investigate and identify the root causes of related control systems downtime and identify and execute solutions to prevent events from re-occurring

Deliver minor improvement projects (PLCs/SCADA) as applicable to optimise and improve plant performance
