A highly experienced Fire Fighting Engineer is sought to join the engineering team for a major industrial capital project. This position entails full lifecycle responsibility for Fire Fighting and Fire Protection System packages, from the conceptual design phase through commissioning and site installation.
The selected candidate will act as the technical expert and primary contact, ensuring all fire protection systems meet the highest quality, safety, and compliance standards. The role emphasizes the detailed design of Fire Water (FW) systems, 3D modelling supervision, and technical coordination with vendors, clients, and interdisciplinary teams.

Goals and Deliverables
Primary Objective:
Deliver a fully functional, safe, and compliant Fire Fighting System package in accordance with project specifications, documentation, and international standards.
Key Goals:
• Ensure Compliance & Documentation Accuracy: Prepare, review, and maintain all Fire Fighting and Fire & Gas Detection system documentation.
• Achieve High Execution Quality: Supervise all stages—from scope definition to manufacturing, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
• Lead Technical Coordination: Manage communication, clarifications, and reviews with clients, vendors, and engineering teams.
Key Deliverables:
• Fire Fighting Design Philosophy
• Detailed design of underground and aboveground Fire Water systems (hydrants, monitors, fixed systems)
• Hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing verification
• Area and fireproofing layout plans
• Preparation of Purchase Orders (POs) and procurement documentation
• Vendor documentation review and approval
• Test and acceptance reports for FAT/SAT and commissioning

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, execution, and supervision of Fire Protection System packages across all project phases.
• Perform and verify hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing for FW systems.
• Develop and review technical documentation, Fire Fighting layouts, and 3D PDS piping models.
• Manage and coordinate procurement activities related to Fire Fighting and Fire & Gas Detection systems.
• Conduct technical meetings and clarification sessions with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Validate and approve all Fire Fighting engineering deliverables and drawings.
• Serve as Lead Engineer for Fire Protection Systems, ensuring technical excellence and compliance.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage complex technical deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
