Position Description
A Mapping Specialist is required to join the Planning and Mapping Team. The team provides mapping services to support property portfolio management, asset maintenance, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Produce property-related mapping using Esri ArcGIS and AutoCAD Map.
Deliver legal mapping and provide advisory support to internal and external stakeholders.
Examine property title documents and define boundaries to determine land ownership and location.
Liaise with relevant authorities regarding property registration.
Manage property records and spatial data, including creating, maintaining, and analysing geospatial databases.
Resolve third-party queries and disputes relating to property boundaries.
Prepare drawings, maps, and documentation for planning applications, Environmental Impact Statements, and special projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
Proven experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, MapInfo, or similar GIS software.
Ability to produce accurate, high-quality mapping and drawings to a professional standard.
Desirable:
Experience preparing drawings to support property transactions.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Essential:
Formal training in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, MapInfo, or similar GIS tools.
Desirable:
Relevant qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, or Engineering, with approximately 5 years’ industry experience.
Full clean driver’s licence.
Safe Pass certification.
Location & Working Arrangements
Based at a central Dublin office.
Hybrid working model, with approximately 2 days per week on-site.
Travel and accommodation costs for commuting to the base office are not reimbursed.
Business-related travel expenses outside the normal place of work will be reimbursed.
