Role Overview
As a Global Mobility SME, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and compliant delegation of employees abroad (outbound) and supporting inbound assignments to the UK. You will provide expert guidance on all types of international assignments.
This position requires a strong understanding of global mobility processes, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to coach and support team members.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delegation Management
Ensure on-time and compliant international assignments, adhering to all relevant regulations and internal policies.
Act as the primary point of contact for complex delegation cases, providing expert advice and solutions.
Instruct payroll to initiate and stop assignment allowances or one-time payments.
Support local departments and projects with processes and administrative tasks.
2. Training and Development
Coordinate and deliver training programs for new joiners on delegation processes, travel expenses, and related topics.
Coach and upskill team members to enhance knowledge and performance.
3. Data Quality and Compliance
Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure adherence to delegation processes and policies.
Implement and maintain best practices for data management and reporting.
4. Subject Matter Expertise
Act as the subject matter expert for all types of international assignments, providing strategic advice to stakeholders.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in global mobility.
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in global mobility (inbound/outbound), international HR, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of global mobility processes, regulations, and best practices.
Experience in training and coaching team members.
Excellent organisational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficient in IT tools such as Outlook and Office 365.
