 Location: Warsaw, Poland

 Duration: 05 Jan 2026 – 31 Dec 2026

 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

 Travel: Approx. 8 days/month (Vietnam, Denmark, and other locations)

 Work Arrangement:

Week 1: On-site (WAV office) for onboarding

After week 1: On-site 1 day/week (commute not reimbursed)

Consultant laptop provided

No PPE required

Role Overview

The OT Security Officer supports the development, assessment, and implementation of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity requirements across the organisation. This role is responsible for conducting OT Cybersecurity Risk Assessments, tracking remediation actions, and gathering evidence to support the OPS transfer process.

You will collaborate closely with SMEs and cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of security controls, prioritisation of risks, and alignment with applicable regulations and industry best practices.

Although the project is managed from Denmark, the position is primarily based in Poland, with international travel expected.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct OT Cybersecurity Risk Assessments and document findings.

Track remediation activities and collect supporting evidence.

Support the development and refinement of OT cybersecurity requirements and controls.

Advise teams and SMEs on OT Security best practices, standards, and implementation strategies.

Assist in planning and prioritising remediation and mitigation actions.

Provide guidance on compliance with legislation related to Critical National Infrastructure.

Contribute to the implementation of complex OT security solutions in challenging and multi-disciplinary environments.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

Minimum 5 years’ experience working with or adjacent to Operational Technologies.

Practical, hands-on experience in OT security assessments and testing.

Strong understanding of SCADA, PLCs, and automation network architectures.

Solid knowledge of OT-relevant security standards and frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, ISO 27000).

Familiarity with legislation governing Critical National Infrastructure.

Experience implementing technical solutions in complex operational environments.

Proven ability to work effectively in large, multi-disciplinary teams.

Experience as an end user of OT systems in operational settings.

Preferred / Additional Skills

Knowledge of network and systems security, configuration, and application security.

Experience within the Energy sector, especially with national critical infrastructure.
