Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Petrophysicist to join our team in Malaysia. As a Petrophysicist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting well logs, core samples, and other geological data to determine the physical and chemical properties of rock formations. You will play a crucial role in helping our team make informed decisions about drilling and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret well logs and core samples to determine rock properties
  • Analyze data to identify potential hydrocarbon reserves
  • Collaborate with geologists and engineers to optimize drilling and production strategies
  • Provide technical support and expertise to drilling and completion operations
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in petrophysical analysis
  • Proficiency in petrophysical software such as Techlog, IP, or Powerlog
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
