Project Director!

An innovative company specializing in next-generation liquid fuels for aviation and shipping. With regional headquarters established in Singapore and an R&D Centre in the USA, they are poised to lead the transformation towards low-carbon fuels in Southeast Asia.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly technical Project Director to oversee the development of their first commercial demonstration plant, a brownfield facility within a major local refinery in Singapore. This is a new position, reporting to the Global VP of Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the construction and commissioning of the plant, with a focus on project execution.
• Ensure alignment across different functions and manage engagements with engineering and project management firms.
• Lead the project to completion by the end of 2027 and commence operations in early 2028.

Qualifications:

• Having overseen the end-to-end delivery of minimally 2 major projects in petrochemicals, biofuels, or refineries. 
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive progress.
• Resourceful, adaptable with a “get-it-done” attitude, and comfortable in a client-side role.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
• Existing connections within Singapore’s industrial ecosystem is highly desirable.

Location & Setup:

The role is based in Singapore, with a remote work setup initially. Open to relocation for the right candidate.
