Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Belgium, with a focus on renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for renewable energy projects
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budget constraints
  • Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure competitive pricing
  • Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids from contractors
  • Provide regular financial reports to project stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the renewable energy sector
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
