Our client is a world?renowned multidisciplinary consultancy delivering high?performance design solutions for some of the most advanced data centre and industrial projects globally. They are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing Building Services team based in Cork.


The Opportunity

You’ll take a senior role in designing and delivering complex electrical systems for data centres and technical facilities, collaborating with architects, clients, and international project teams. Working within a leading engineering and design environment, you’ll contribute to innovative, sustainable electrical solutions that support critical digital infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering design for major mission?critical facilities.
  • Oversee the delivery of multidisciplinary projects, mentoring junior engineers and supporting project teams.
  • Develop designs across low?voltage, UPS, back?up power, lighting, ICT, security, and automation systems.
  • Coordinate with design disciplines to integrate electrical requirements effectively.
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring design integrity and technical excellence.


About You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering.
  • 7+ years’ experience in electrical building services design within data centre or industrial sectors.
  • Proficient in Revit/BIM; parametric design experience advantageous.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, spoken and written.
  • Confident communicator with strong organisation and project coordination skills.
