Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in New London, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quantity surveying process and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering studies
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential cost overruns
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management
  • Provide advice on cost-saving measures and alternative construction methods

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in construction cost estimation software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
