Wind Sales Manager, Japan

They are currently investing into the Japanese market and building up their sales team with a focus on sales of wind turbine technology. They are looking for a Wind Sales Manager for their Japanese market with the following responsibilities:


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for wind turbine solutions.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within target markets (e.g., utilities, developers, EPCs, government agencies).
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, project developers, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, finance, legal, project management) to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to senior leadership.
