Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Analyst/Associate to execute complex investment strategies across our renewable energy portfolio. Working in a team of 2, this is a critical role responsible for driving financial analysis, project financing, tender processes, and M&A transactions to support aggressive growth plans in the Australian energy market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee detailed financial models to support investment decisions across solar, battery, and wind projects.
  • Support the full lifecycle of project financing, including debt structuring, equity funding, and financial close.
  • Drive competitive tender processes, negotiating commercial terms and aligning projects with strategic growth objectives.
  • Support M&A activities, including identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, and managing transaction execution.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, legal, and operational teams to ensure project viability and commercial success.
  • Present financial analyses, investment recommendations, and project updates to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to identify investment opportunities and risks.

 

Key Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or a similar role within the energy or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a proven track record in evaluating complex investments.
  • Experience in M&A transactions, project financing, and competitive tenders.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
