A global engineering consultancy is expanding its London mission critical engineering team and is seeking an experienced Associate Mechanical Project Engineer to help lead the delivery of large-scale hyperscale and colocation data centre projects.


This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex infrastructure projects at the forefront of the digital economy, delivering highly resilient and efficient mechanical systems for next-generation data centres.


The Role


As an Associate Mechanical Project Engineer, you will take a leading role in delivering mechanical building services systems for mission critical facilities, supporting projects from design through to construction and commissioning.


You will also help guide project teams, mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of the data centre engineering capability.


Key Responsibilities


  • Leading mechanical engineering delivery on data centre projects

  • Managing cooling systems, chilled water infrastructure and HVAC systems

  • Supporting technical design reviews and engineering coordination

  • Working closely with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders

  • Ensuring projects meet performance, resilience and sustainability standards

  • Mentoring and supporting engineers within the project team


What We’re Looking For


? Strong experience in mechanical building services engineering

? Proven experience delivering data centre or mission critical projects

? Knowledge of HVAC systems and cooling infrastructure

? Experience managing engineering packages and project delivery

? Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
