Job Title: Staff Digital Delivery Engineer
Location: London, UK (fully site-based)
Contract Duration: April 2026 – October 2026
Engagement Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
Working Pattern: 40 hours/week
About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Digital Delivery Engineer to support digital project delivery within the structural discipline. This role plays a key part in advancing digital engineering capabilities, ensuring high-quality BIM coordination, and supporting project teams across a diverse portfolio.
You will contribute to the implementation of digital delivery strategies, standards, and tools, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive efficient, compliant, and innovative project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Building Information Modelling (BIM) coordination in line with ISO 19650 standards
Support the development and implementation of digital delivery standards, processes, and tools
Execute digital delivery tasks in line with project scope, schedule, budget, and QA/QC requirements
Perform clash detection, reporting, and resolution coordination
Assist with project setup, including:
Structural model setup
Digital environments and cloud platforms
Prepare and deliver model-based presentations to clients and stakeholders
Update and manage structural simulations and models
Conduct data management activities, including metadata audits and validation
Develop and maintain parametric families and digital content across the full project lifecycle
Support cost estimation for digital delivery modelling scope
Collaborate with project teams to define and improve digital workflows and tools
Develop and maintain digital delivery schedules and ensure compliance with project requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within digital engineering
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, standards, and legal requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education (one of the following):
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering Technology, Virtual Design & Construction, or related field + 3 years’ experience, OR
Foundation Degree / HND + 4 years’ experience, OR
HNC + 5 years’ experience, OR
Secondary education + 6 years’ relevant experience
Core Skills:
Strong understanding of digital delivery across project lifecycle stages
Experience integrating BIM models across multiple stakeholders and platforms
Proficiency in industry tools such as:
Revit
Navisworks
Tekla
Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Knowledge of BIM standards and deliverables (including ISO 19650)
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving ability
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
Desirable Skills
Background in Structural Engineering
Experience with:
Dynamo or PyRevit
Data tools such as Power Query or DAX
Programming/scripting (e.g., Python, visual scripting)
Working Conditions & Travel
Primarily office-based role
Occasional travel to project or client sites may be required
Up to 25% travel depending on project needs
Ability to independently arrange travel and accommodation
