HSE Manager

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and control programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Identify risks and provide practical solutions to HSE challenges.
  • Establish and manage project safety programmes and HSE KPIs.
  • Lead safety committees where required.
  • Deliver HSE training to staff and promote employee engagement.
  • Maintain safety records, statistics, and reporting.
  • Conduct regular site audits, prepare findings, and recommend improvements.
  • Support the creation of a safe working environment free from incidents and violations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 9 years’ relevant HSE experience.
  • Green Book certification is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations.
  • Proven experience in HSE management, compliance, and programme development.
  • Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
