Job Description: MC Truck Driver – Towoomba CBM Site, QLD


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MC (Multi Combination) Truck Driver to join our team at the Towoomba CBM site in Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials and equipment to and from the site, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

- Operate MC trucks and trailers in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and site-specific regulations.

- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or concerns to the maintenance team.

- Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring they are secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.

- Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and pickups.

- Maintain accurate logs and records of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and participating in safety training sessions.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.


Qualifications:

- Valid MC driver’s license and clean driving record.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience driving MC trucks, preferably in a construction or industrial environment.

- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
