Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Procurement Manager to join our team in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Procurement Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to support our renewable energy projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for renewable energy projects
• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve best value for the organization
• Manage procurement processes and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement practices

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy industry
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and market trends
