Pay rate: £60,000 - £100,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Glasgow. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful delivery of mechanical engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers
  • Develop and implement design solutions to meet project requirements
  • Conduct engineering analysis and calculations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as required

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • Proven track record of leading and managing engineering projects
  • Strong technical skills in mechanical design and analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
