Procurement Manager, Wind Projects

A global renewable energy organisation is urgently hiring a Procurement Manager to support its expanding wind project portfolio in Brazil. This position plays a pivotal role in securing and managing high-value contracts related to logistics, port operations, and key suppliers essential for wind turbine imports and project execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities for wind projects in Brazil, managing the full procurement cycle from sourcing through contract execution.
  • Oversee categories critical to wind project delivery, including logistics, port services, cranes, transportation, temporary manpower, design firms, and other engineering-related services.
  • Engage and negotiate with key suppliers such as crane companies, logistics and transport providers, and port operators, particularly for turbine components imported
  • Manage high-value PTCI (Port, Transport, Crane, Installation) contracts to ensure alignment with project timelines and commercial requirements.
  • Work closely with Project Management, Operations, and technical teams to align procurement strategies with overall project delivery.
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal governance, compliance standards, and cost-control strategies.
  • Support the maturation of procurement processes and contribute to establishing a scalable sourcing framework for future LATAM expansion.


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within renewable energy, industrial projects, construction, or large-scale infrastructure.
  • Strong and proven experience in PTCI procurement (Port, Transport, Crane, Installation) is mandatory.
  • Prior experience supporting wind project procurement is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability in negotiating and managing high-value technical and logistics contracts.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Ethical, commercially astute, and comfortable working within a complex stakeholder environment.
