Job Title: Project Control Coordinator

Role Overview:

We are urgently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Control Coordinator to support the successful delivery of oilfield equipment supply and fabrication projects. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth coordination across documentation, procurement, cost tracking, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will join an established team in Brisbane and support ongoing and upcoming projects. Immediate availability and prior experience in the oil & gas or heavy industrial sector will be highly regarded.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, drawings, and records in accordance with internal procedures and client standards.
  • Assist with cost tracking, budget monitoring, and variance reporting to support project financial controls.
  • Coordinate procurement activities including placing purchase orders, tracking supplier performance, and ensuring timely material readiness.
  • Monitor logistics and shipping schedules for equipment deliveries, proactively flagging delays or issues.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, project, and commercial teams to keep all stakeholders aligned on key project deliverables.
  • Support contract administration: track milestones, deliverables, and variations.
  • Assist with preparation of progress reports, presentations, and updates for clients and senior management.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the project manager and team as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in project coordination, document control, or procurement within the oil & gas, mining, or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles and cost tracking principles.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently under tight timelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ideally experience with ERP or project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Additional Information:

  • This is a Brisbane-based office role with standard hours and no travel requirements.
  • Interviews will be arranged immediately for shortlisted candidates.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with immediate availability or a short notice period.
