Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and readily available Project Planner to join

our Operations team supporting the Business in running multi-milliondollar international projects.

As a Project Planner, you will have key responsibilities for ensuring that all

aspects of a customer project plan are effectively planned to minimize

business and customer on time delivery (OTD) risk. The Project Planner is

responsible for integrating Engineering, Manufacturing and materials

requirements activities.


In this role you will focus on:

• Developing and taking ownership of project schedules in Primavera

P6 from the project inception through to completion of the contract,

including progress reporting tools and detailed progress tracking.

• Maintaining, updating, and monitoring of progress on project

schedules, including production of internal and external reports.

• Managing preparation and issue of schedule impact assessments/

summaries as identified by the Project Manager for incorporation in

internal project changes and external variation orders.

• Ensure materials scheduling aligns with customer milestones and

firm-plan materials in the SAP and Fusion ERP

• Monitor monthly ‘on time delivery’ and ‘inventory management’

metrics, Identifying and communicating ‘risk’ relating to all

schedules produced.

• Develops and maintains the project schedule by integrating inputs

from all functions, units and third parties contributing to the project

• Provides look ahead, backlog and future late reporting with

prioritizations to clearly communicate potential and real risk and

drive the project priorities

• Provides regular status reporting with forecasting and analytics to

project team members

• Provides contractually required customer reporting and is able to

communicate directly with customers on scheduling matters

• Preparation of critical path analysis and work with multiple critical

and near critical paths

• Generates what if” scenarios to optimize execution and works with

project teams to evaluate feasibility

• Aligns with cost controlling function to ensure clear alignment

between cost and schedule to ensure accurate project execution

• Support change order analysis with schedule analytics and

forecasts

• Load and manage resources into the project schedule

We are looking for a committed and professional individual with:

• A background in Energy management system applications (SCADA,

EMS, DMS or others).

• A proven track record in a similar planning role, creating and

maintaining complex, integrated project schedules.

• Demonstrable project management experience, proficient in

Primavera P6 & SAP.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel (pivot

tables, advanced data sorting functions, macros).

• Highly developed oral and written communication skills in French to

liaise with customer and English for the purpose of presenting to

team members.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and resolve

conflicting demands and priorities


Educational Requirements

• Graduate in Engineering, Project Management or Economic studies

Experience and Knowledge

• As part of a project team, 3-5 years of experience in planning

management

• Application of planning control principles (WBS, critical path,

progress, resource loading)

• Application of Primavera P6
