Logistics Project Manager
We are now looking for another person for the role of Logistics Project Manager within the Service project organization. We are a committed team responsible for material supply to our customer projects around the world.
The department's main focus is to deliver and coordinate all material deliveries such as tools, instruments and spare parts for all gas turbine inspections, modifications and major repairs worldwide. The work is varied as you as a Logistics Project Manager work with both long-term and short-term planned deliveries. You will collaborate with committed colleagues from several parts of the organization in Finspång, our global regions and with external customers, and you will be an important part in meeting a market where conditions are constantly changing. The role requires you to communicate clearly, take responsibility for the whole and take the sub-project manager role from order to delivery.
Your tasks?
As a Logistics Project Manager (LPM), you have overall responsibility for the material supply within your projects. This means, among other things, that you:
• Ensure material deliveries, including tools and instruments, for both planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs.
• Follow up and report material status to project managers and maintain an ongoing dialogue with customers and local companies to ensure high delivery reliability.
• Carry out delivery kickoff and coordinate with purchasing, workshop, warehouse, packing and forwarding.
• Monitor deliveries, conduct root cause analyses and take corrective measures to maintain high OTD (On-Time Delivery).
• Act as sub-project manager towards the service workshop during workshop work.
• Actively work with continuous improvements, drive development work and represent logistics project management in various interface forums.
Your profile?
• You have either worked for a few years with Supply Chain and Logistics or have an education in these areas. It is a requirement to have one or the other with you
• What distinguishes you is your planning ability and your structured characteristics.
• You are interested in customer relations and enjoy having a coordinating role with many interfaces.
• That you are a team player and have an easy time working within and across departmental boundaries, together with different professions is a given in this work.
• You enjoy working with Customer Satisfaction, where the customer is in focus and conditions can change quickly
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required.
