Reservoir Engineer

Actively participated in technical reviews and provided technical assurance for reservoir engineering analyses and deliverables.

Demonstrated capability in developing and implementing corporate standards and technical guidelines.

Delivered structured training programs and workshops on Reservoir Engineering (RE) subject matters.

Holds a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Over 15 years of hands-on Reservoir Engineering experience, including contributions to Field Development Planning (FDP) and asset technical assurance in PSC/JV environments.

Exposure to subsurface operations, with added advantage in surface modelling integration.

Experience across a wide range of geological depositional environments, enhancing reservoir characterization capabilities.

Involved in exploration and production assets, including implementation of WRFM (Well, Reservoir, and Facility Management) plans.

Provided operational drilling support, and contributed to well and reservoir integrity management and the well lifecycle.

Proficient in reservoir simulation tools such as PETREL, tNAV, CMG, or equivalent platforms.

Skilled in Integrated Production System Modelling tools including GAP, MBAL, and PROSPER.

Strong expertise in decline curve analysis (both conventional and modern), well and reservoir management, pore pressure prediction, well test design and interpretation, production forecasting, and reserves assurance.

Extensive experience in developing Field Development Plans (FDP), conducting economic evaluations, and formulating reservoir management strategies.

Competent in the design and evaluation of rock and fluid laboratory analyses, including Routine Core Analysis (RCA), Special Core Analysis (SCAL), and fluid characterization.

Technically involved in a minimum of five global Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) projects; experience with Malaysian CCUS projects considered an added advantage.

Delivered training and mentoring sessions on Reservoir Engineering principles and practices to both junior and experienced staff.
