Job Description: Senior Manager/Director, Investor Relations – Infrastructure Business Trust


Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager or Director of Investor Relations to join a leading infrastructure business trust based in Singapore. This is a senior role supporting a diversified portfolio with assets under management of approximately $9 billion, spanning energy transition, environmental services, and distribution & storage sectors.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, including direct collaboration with the CEO, while reporting to the Managing Director of Investor Relations. This position requires someone who can operate independently at a senior level within a specialized IR team.


Key Responsibilities


Investor Relations Management

- Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations strategies for a major listed infrastructure business trust.

- Manage relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and key stakeholders in the Singapore Exchange (SGX) market.

- Lead quarterly earnings communications, including drafting earnings releases, investor presentations, and Q&A documentation.

- Coordinate and manage investor meetings, analyst days, and other targeted events.


Strategic Communication & Analysis

- Prepare and present detailed financial analysis and infrastructure investment discussions to institutional audiences.

- Draft and edit investor communications materials including press releases, key talking points, and website content.

- Support ESG reporting and sustainability communications, working alongside dedicated sustainability team members.

- Provide market intelligence and investor feedback to senior management and the CEO.


Financial Data Management

- Analyze and interpret complex financial data across diversified infrastructure assets.

- Support due diligence processes and respond to investor inquiries with detailed financial information.

- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of fund performance metrics.


Market Positioning & Strategy

- Maintain deep understanding of infrastructure investment trends and investor requirements.

- Position the trust competitively within the listed infrastructure fund landscape.

- Support business development initiatives and capital allocation decisions through investor insights.


Required Qualifications

Experience Requirements

- **Senior Manager Level:** Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in investor relations, fund management, or related financial services.

- **Director Level:** Minimum 18-20 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in senior IR roles.


Core Competencies

- Experience with investor relations for listed funds, specifically within infrastructure assets.

- Strong understanding of Singapore Exchange (SGX) regulations and the local institutional investor landscape.

- Solid foundation in fund management, accounting, or finance with the ability to analyze complex financial data.

- Deep knowledge of infrastructure investment trends, asset classes, and market dynamics.


Professional Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts clearly.

- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.

- Experience presenting to institutional investors, analysts, and senior executives.

- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work across multiple business functions.


Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with business trusts or REITs listed on major exchanges.

- Background with sizable infrastructure funds (multi-billion AUM preferred).

- Established network of institutional investor contacts in the Asia-Pacific region.

- Professional qualifications in finance, accounting, or related disciplines.

- Experience supporting C-suite executives in investor-facing activities.


Position Details

- Reporting Structure: Reports to Managing Director of Investor Relations with a close working relationship to the CEO.

- Team Environment: Part of a specialized 7-8 person IR team with dedicated sustainability professionals.

- Work Authorization: Singapore work authorization required; Employment Pass sponsorship available for exceptional candidates.
