Role Overview

Drive direct sales of advanced high-density liquid cooling (HDLC) solutions and intelligent power distribution units (iPDUs) to end-users across the European data centre market.


Balance rapid sales cycles with consultative selling, using technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems to deliver in-rack cooling and power solutions addressing immediate customer challenges.


Coordinate with business development for larger deals while ensuring full customer satisfaction from outreach to delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Direct Customer Engagement

  • Target enterprise data centres, small cloud providers, and end-users needing high-density cooling upgrades or rack power distribution.
  • Conduct regional travel for site visits, relationship-building, and on-site needs assessments for whitespace cooling and power needs.

Sales Cycle Management

  • Own full sales cycles for short-term deals, including lead qualification, proposals, negotiations, and closes.
  • Employ diverse tactics like cold calls, site visits, and trade show demos to hit targets on products such as coolant distribution units, rear-door heat exchangers, and iPDUs.

Solution Selling with Technical Insight

  • Translate HDLC and iPDU technical specs into customer benefits like efficiency, capacity, and space savings.
  • Leverage engineering background to address queries on cooling capacity, HVAC integration, electrical loads, and PDU network management.

Collaboration on Complex Projects

  • Partner with business development managers and solution architects on large opportunities, such as data hall build-outs requiring custom cooling loops.
  • Provide field insights on customer issues to refine proposals, supporting strategic account leadership.

Customer Relationship & Account Management

  • Nurture key accounts for repeat business and monitor satisfaction through installation and post-sales support.
  • Share customer feedback internally to enhance products and identify new needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related) preferred.
  • 5+ years in technical or field sales, ideally in data centre cooling/power; must know data centre ecosystems, cooling tech (CRAC, liquid), and power distribution.
  • Proven sales target achievement and account management success.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills, regional travel willingness, English fluency (other EU languages advantageous).
