Job Title: Blade Repair Technician – Onshore Wind (Japan)
Location: Multiple Onshore Sites, Start at Kamaishi, Japan
Start Date: Mid-July 2025 (latest)
Duration: 3 months with high likelihood of extension
Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Blade Repair Technicians for an onshore wind project in Japan. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic international team working with a leading client in the wind energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute blade repair work on onshore wind turbines
Conduct Category 1 to 3 blade repairs efficiently and safely
Follow client-specific quality and safety protocols
Work in various locations within Japan as project demands shift
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven blade repair experience on V117 turbines (minimum 2 years or multiple project completions)
Proficient in Category 1 to 3 blade repairs
Certifications (must-have):
GWO BST (Basic Safety Training)
GWO ART (Advanced Rescue Training)
International Driver’s Permit (IDP)
Additional Requirements:
Must have their own PPE
Strong adherence to safety standards and repair procedures
Contract Details:
Rotation Allowance: Not applicable
Start Date: No later than Mid-July 2025
Initial Term: 3 months with potential extensions based on performance and project needs
