Job Title: Client Representative

Location: Offshore – Boulder Clearance Vessels

Rotation: 14 days on / 14 days off

Contract Duration: October 2025 – March 2026 (Potential 2x6 month extensions)

Role Summary:

We are currently looking for 8 experienced Offshore Client Representatives to support a major offshore wind project during boulder clearance and seabed preparation operations. The successful candidates will act as the Client’s representative on board assigned vessels, ensuring all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the project’s technical and procedural requirements.

This is a rotational offshore position with a schedule of 14 days on / 14 days off.

Reporting To:

Offshore Installation Manager – Array Cable Installation

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary Client representative onboard boulder clearance vessels.

Monitor and report on seabed preparation activities, including boulder clearance and debris removal.

Ensure strict adherence to all approved procedures, method statements, and risk assessments.

Promote a safety-first culture and ensure high standards of work execution.

Provide timely and accurate documentation, including Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).

Primary Tasks:

Prepare and distribute DPRs, ensuring appropriate sign-offs.

Stay up to date with relevant RAMS and QHSE documentation.

Participate in daily coordination meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.

Monitor key installation activities and contractor performance.

Join HSE walks and contribute to safety and quality discussions.

Report any deviations in safety, quality, or procedures.

Record boulder clearance and debris removal data, including screening target registers.

Monitor the condition and maintenance routines of contractor equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Mandatory:

Valid GWO Certificates:

Sea Survival

Working at Heights

First Aid

Fire Awareness

Manual Handling

HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO/BOSIET and EBS (STASS, HEED, or equivalent)

OEUK Medical Certificate (or equivalent), including Chester Step

IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HSE training

Minimum 5 years of offshore experience in seabed preparation / boulder clearance using ROV grabs, PLGR, cable cutting, etc.

Preferred:

LOLER & CDM Awareness

Marine Awareness certification (as required by role)

10+ years’ experience as an Offshore Client Representative

Familiarity with industry-standard DPR and incident reporting tools

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

IT & Equipment Requirements:

Consultants must provide their own PC and iPhone/iPad, updated with the latest iOS.

Devices must be compatible with the Client’s security software.

The Client reserves the right to remove corporate data/apps from personal devices upon contract completion or if security concerns arise.

Consultants must ensure all Client data is deleted from personal devices at the end of the assignment.
