Job Title: OSS Offshore Commissioning Manager
Location: Poland, Offshore (14 days on / 14 days off rotation)
Contract Type: 6-month contract with potential for extension

Reporting To: Commissioning Manager (Electrical Package)
Role Overview:
An experienced Offshore Substation (OSS) Commissioning Manager is required for a leading offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the offshore commissioning activities of two OSS platforms. Working on a rotational offshore schedule, you will coordinate and manage commissioning execution, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and timeline targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning Execution & Oversight:
Lead commissioning works offshore, permanently based on a 14/14 rotation schedule.
Coordinate all OSS commissioning activities, including Mechanical Completion (MC), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), energization, and integration testing.
Review and validate commissioning plans, ITPs, and supplier procedures.
Ensure commissioning documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
Team Management & Coordination:
Delegate and oversee tasks performed by offshore supervisors and technicians.
Coordinate daily commissioning activities with site teams and third-party contractors.
Facilitate offshore commissioning meetings and interface management with construction and operations teams.
Act as the main offshore contact for electrical safety coordination and protocol compliance.
Progress Tracking & Reporting:
Report daily and weekly progress to the Commissioning Manager and Package Management team.
Provide input to commissioning schedules and overall project timelines.
Identify risks or delays early and propose practical mitigation measures.
Maintain punch list and NCR registers, ensuring timely resolution and closeout.
Safety & Compliance:
Uphold high safety standards and ensure all commissioning works are carried out in accordance with project Safety Rules and electrical safety procedures.
Support the implementation of Work Execution Safety Rules (WESR) offshore.
Contribute to safe system of work processes and act as liaison with the Electrical Safety Manager.
Knowledge Transfer & Documentation:
Provide on-the-job guidance and training to operational and maintenance personnel.
Ensure accurate completion of HAT/SAT reports, commissioning dossiers, and documentation required for regulatory approvals.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of documentation for TSO approvals.
Key Deliverables:
Approved commissioning reports (system, subsystem, package level)
Completed HAT/SAT documentation
Weekly status and progress reports
Updated SNAG list, NCR register, and punch list closeouts
Inputs to commissioning schedules and overall project programme
Documentation package for grid/TSO interface approval
Requirements:
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of offshore commissioning experience, ideally within the offshore wind or large-scale energy sector.
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of commissioning processes, electrical safety, and interface management.
Proven ability to work in a high-paced, multidisciplinary offshore environment.

Contract duration: Initial 6 months with extension opportunity
